Ooredoo Qatar launches industrial IoT eSIM solution
Ooredoo Qatar has rolled out an industrial eSIM service aimed at businesses running fleets of internet-connected devices. The operator says the new offering lets enterprises remotely provision and manage IoT SIM profiles, instead of swapping physical SIM cards in the field.
According to Ooredoo, the eSIM platform is designed for cross-border deployments, allowing companies to keep devices connected as they move between countries while applying consistent security and management policies. The service targets sectors that rely on large numbers of distributed devices, such as logistics, utilities, and industrial automation, where central control and reduced on-site maintenance can cut operational overheads.
