Macquarie Telecom expands Fortinet secure networking partnership
Macquarie Telecom is deepening its long-running partnership with Fortinet to offer a unified secure networking platform for Australian mid-market and enterprise customers. The joint offering folds together secure SD-WAN, on-premises next-generation firewalls, security service edge (SSE) cloud security, switching and Wi-Fi into a single SASE-based solution. The aim is to give organisations one vendor and one platform for network security, connectivity and cloud access, instead of juggling multiple tools, licences and providers.
Fortinet brings its global security-driven networking technology, while Macquarie Telecom provides Australia-based engineering, 24/7 operations and managed network performance. Both companies pitch the expanded partnership as a way for local organisations to simplify network operations, cut complexity and strengthen cyber resilience as they deal with rising threats, hybrid work, cloud adoption and tighter regulation. The service is framed as providing both global-grade cybersecurity and local accountability, with Macquarie positioning itself as the single point of contact for design, delivery and ongoing support.
