Kyivstar, the Ukrainian operator owned by Veon, has made its first move into renewable energy by buying solar company Sunvin 11.

Sunvin 11 runs a 12.9-megawatt solar power plant in Ukraine’s Zhytomyr region. Kyivstar positions the purchase as a step toward using more local, renewable power to support its network and digital services.
