Kigen and Trasna link up on geo-redundant eSIM service for large IoT fleets
Kigen and Trasna are expanding their partnership to offer a joint managed eSIM service aimed at enterprises running large-scale IoT deployments. The service combines both firms’ eSIM server capabilities to handle secure data management, over-the-air subscription updates and device management, backed by 24/7 support. Infrastructure will be geo‑redundant, with secure servers in Dublin and Dubai, to improve resilience and service continuity.
Both companies are established players in eSIM provisioning and remote management, with experience implementing GSMA standards such as SGP.32. Kigen brought to market a GSMA‑compliant server for its eIM platform in 2025, while Trasna reports delivery of 20 billion SIM and eSIM profiles and works with more than 250 brands in over 80 countries. By pooling their infrastructure and customer reach, Kigen and Trasna aim to make it easier for enterprises to adopt eSIM as a security anchor and management layer for globally distributed IoT devices, and to meet growing regulatory demands around cybersecurity and lifecycle management.
