GSMA Innovation Fund Backs Mobile Tech for Green Transition in Emerging Markets

The GSMA has launched a new Innovation Fund offering grants of £100,000 to £200,000 for small and growing businesses that use mobile and digital tools to support the green transition in low- and middle-income countries. The fund targets projects that expand access to clean energy, improve circular use of resources, promote digital inclusion, and support climate action.
The programme focuses on digital solutions that can be scaled in markets where climate risks are rising and infrastructure is limited. By directing money to early-stage enterprises, GSMA aims to help practical, locally grounded services reach more users in low- and middle-income economies.
