ZTE has signed a memorandum of understanding with Bangladeshi operator Grameenphone to work on using large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI to move towards autonomous mobile networks.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to explore how these AI systems can handle more of the network’s operations on their own, such as monitoring performance, detecting faults, and responding to issues in real time. The aim is to reduce manual intervention in day-to-day network management and improve reliability and efficiency for Grameenphone’s services.
