Google releases Android 17 Beta 1 for these Pixel devices
Google has restarted the rollout of Android 17 Beta 1 for Pixel phones after briefly pulling it without explanation. The new build focuses on making Android apps more adaptable across devices, upgrading camera and media features, and adding tools to improve connectivity and support for companion-device profiles.
With this release, Google is also moving away from separate Developer Preview builds, folding that early testing phase into the public beta track for supported Pixel devices.
