Google may finally let you change the email tied to your account once a year
Google appears to be preparing a way for users to change the primary email address linked to their Google account, according to an official Hindi-language support page. The feature is described as rolling out gradually, so it may not be available to everyone, or immediately.
The change will work more like adding a new alias than replacing the old address. Once every 12 months, users will be able to pick a new email address for the same Google account. The original address will stay active and keep working, with one shared inbox and outbox across both identities. Details on how this will look in Gmail and other Google services are still limited, and the company has not formally announced the feature in English support materials yet.
