Ethio Telecom to expand telehealth services as 4G reaches 93 more cities
Ethio Telecom is tying its latest network rollout directly to healthcare. After extending its 4G coverage to 93 more cities, the state operator says it will expand its telehealth services to an additional 200 hospitals.
The company’s plan depends on the broader 4G footprint to support remote medical consultations and digital health tools inside hospitals. By linking faster mobile broadband with hospital connectivity, Ethio Telecom aims to widen access to basic telehealth services beyond major urban centres.
