Entel Bolivia and Claro Chile partner to improve regional connectivity
Bolivia’s state-owned operator Entel has signed an interconnection deal with Claro Chile to build a so‑called bioceanic route, linking the Atlantic and Pacific coasts through regional fibre infrastructure.
The agreement aims to use Bolivia’s geography to turn the country into a data transit corridor between the two oceans, giving operators in the region more options for routing traffic and improving cross‑border connectivity.
