Du Pay, the digital finance arm of UAE operator du, has partnered with Nepalese remittance provider Esewa Money Transfer to push cheaper, more convenient money transfers for Nepalese workers in the UAE.
The collaboration focuses on cross-border payments into Nepal, aiming to pull more remittances into formal digital channels by offering incentives to users. The companies are targeting the large Nepalese expat community in the Gulf, where remittances are a key source of income for families back home.
