Deutsche Telekom sends fibre advisors to customers’ homes
Deutsche Telekom is rolling out in-home fibre advisory teams across Germany after trialling the model in selected regions in 2025. Under the "Telekom Shop on Site" programme, permanent local staff will visit households to explain fibre offers, answer technical questions and coordinate with field technicians and property owners.
The company said these consultants will work alongside its retail shops, call centres and online channels as part of a mixed outreach strategy. Equipped with access to customer data, the in-home teams are presented as a way to meet demand for expert guidance on fibre services. Deutsche Telekom stressed that the advisers receive specific training and must follow internal quality and compliance guidelines.
