Claro Peru extends 5G coverage to 100 districts
Claro Peru says its 5G mobile network now reaches almost 100 districts nationwide, about a month after launch. The operator is expanding coverage in stages and promoting higher mobile data speeds and lower latency where the network is live.
The rollout places Claro among the first movers in Peru’s 5G market, though coverage remains limited compared to its 4G footprint. The company is expected to keep adding districts as spectrum, infrastructure, and local permits allow.
