Calix launches AI-native platform for service providers
Calix has introduced Calix One, a cloud-based platform that pulls its software, cloud, and management tools into a single environment for broadband service providers. The company pitches it as "AI-native," using agent-based AI to automate tasks like network operations, marketing outreach, and customer support.
Calix says service providers can use the platform to target and sign up new subscribers, bundle and sell more services, and track subscriber behavior to reduce churn. The system runs on a common data layer so different functions — from billing to network analytics — can share information. The vendor is positioning Calix One as a way for small and mid-sized providers to apply AI to their operations without building their own tooling or infrastructure.
