Cable One's new CEO says mobile is 'integral,' but success will take time
Cable One’s new CEO, Jim Holanda, is putting mobile service at the center of the company’s future, but he is not promising quick results. Holanda called mobile "integral" to Cable One’s strategy, framing it as a key piece of a longer-term plan to link broadband and wireless service.
He also warned investors not to expect fast payoffs. The company is still early in its convergence push and will need time to grow its mobile base and prove out the business case. For now, mobile is more about positioning Cable One for where the market is going than delivering immediate financial gains.
