Bouygues, Free and Orange confirm SFR takeover talks
Bouygues Telecom, Iliad-owned Free and Orange have confirmed they are in talks to buy a large part of Altice France, the parent company of SFR. The discussions focus on a possible split of Altice France’s assets between the three operators.
The companies have not disclosed financial details, structure of the deal, or a timeline. They stressed that the talks are ongoing and may not lead to an agreement.
