Beeline Kazakhstan, owned by Veon, has begun building a Tier III hyperscale data centre in Almaty. The facility is planned as the backbone for Kazakhstan’s sovereign cloud, AI computing and a range of digital services for businesses.
The company presents the project as core national infrastructure, intended to keep data and computing capacity inside the country while supporting government and enterprise needs. The data centre is described as hyperscale, signalling capacity to expand as demand for cloud and AI services grows.
