Asus exits phone making, more Galaxy S26 news, Week 4 in review
Asus is leaving the smartphone business. The company said it will stop making new phones and shift its efforts to research and development for commercial PCs and what it calls “physical AI,” including robotics and smart glasses. Asus will keep supporting its existing smartphones for now, but future hardware will come from other product lines.
Samsung is moving ahead with its next flagship launch. According to leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S26 series is slated for a February 25 unveiling. Pre-orders would run February 26–March 4, followed by a pre-sale window from March 5–10, with open sales starting March 11. Earlier reports suggested the Galaxy S26 Ultra would launch in four colors, but Evleaks now expects a broader color lineup.
