Aramco Ventures seeks French connection
Aramco’s venture capital arm plans to open a Paris office in 2026, using France as a base to expand its investments in AI, cybersecurity and quantum computing across Europe. The company says the new hub will plug it into France’s research and start-up networks, pointing to government backing for deep tech and to institutions such as Paris-Saclay University and the Station F start-up campus.
Aramco already runs a fuel research centre in Paris and has put money into several French start-ups. With more than $7 billion in committed capital, Aramco Ventures funds early and growth-stage companies in areas ranging from industrial AI to sustainability-focused technologies, positioning the Paris office as a way to tighten links with local founders, universities and investors.
