Apple said to showcase Gemini-powered Siri next month
Apple is preparing to show off a new version of Siri that runs on Google’s Gemini AI models, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The company is expected to present the upgraded assistant in the second half of February, either at an event or in a closed-door media briefing.
This Gemini-powered Siri is reported to tap into a user’s personal data to offer more capable, context-aware responses than the current version. The February showing would be Apple’s first public look at what its partnership with Google’s AI means for everyday iPhone features, with a wider rollout likely to follow later.
