Huawei introduced eSIM in P40 series (2020) for global/European markets. China-sold devices do not support eSIM due to regulatory restrictions. Notable exceptions: P40 Pro+ and P50 Pro do NOT support eSIM. Mate 40 Pro has eSIM in international versions only.
